Axially asymmetrical turning was recognized in the Polish Product of the Future competition organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

The technology uses a proprietary algorithm that independently creates tool paths and saves them in the form of G-Code.  This solution can be particularly useful in the automotive industry, as well as in the aerospace industry. It will also work well in the production of machines and devices, as well as metal components for the lighting and ventilation industries.

This is a huge scientific achievement for us. We are developing a new sheet metal forming technology that is highly competitive with 3D printing and traditional stamping. On the one hand, we have been recognized and selected from among 150 projects, and on the other hand, this distinction motivates us even more to further improve this technology, says Tomasz Gądek, project manager.

The competition jury awarded three main prizes, ten distinctions, and three special prizes. The main prize went to Łukasiewicz – ILOT, and one of the distinctions, alongside Łukasiewicz – PIT, went to Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics. A big round of applause for everyone!
